| What We Believe: |
| The Bible is the foundation and authority for what
we believe. We believe the plenary and verbal inspiration of the
Bible. In other words, we believe that the Bible is fully,
completely, all-inspired by God. And the words themselves, in the
original manuscripts, were verbally inspired by God. The Apostle
Paul writes: "All scripture is given by inspiration of
God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete,
thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17) |
| Jesus guaranteed the preservation of the Word of
God through time when He said the following: "Heaven and earth
will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away" (Matthew
24:35). |
| Therefore, in order to define what we believe it is
necessary to emphasize the whole Word of God as the source of our core
beliefs. |
Our core beliefs are:
We believe in the inspiration of the Bible; in God the Father, Son
and Holy Spirit; in the virgin birth of Christ. We believe in
Jesus Christ's blood atonement which provides forgiveness from sin and
delivers us from the judgment for sin that awaits all mankind. We
believe in His bodily resurrection and second return to establish His
Kingdom upon the earth, followed by the millennial reign of Christ after
which He will create a new heaven and a new earth. |
